Founded in 2021, Rifugio Cornadure is an antispeciesist sanctuary in the Sicilian countryside.

A space of care, resistance and liberation for non-human animals.

Animals live freely, respected as individuals and never exploited.

We offer lifelong care, safety and dignity.

Cornadure is also a living, open space — a place for connection, learning and shared experiences.

Visitors and volunteers are welcome to take part in daily life at the sanctuary, help care for the animals, and support the work behind the scenes.

Throughout the year, we host events that reflect our values, including:

x yoga and movement practices
x music, talks and readings
x shared vegan food
x activities and experiences for children

All events are created with respect for the animals and the sanctuary space.
